Preserve The Cathedral

The Project: Over the years, Compucast has had the opportunity to work on many sites for iconic New Orleans attractions and businesses. When the Friends of the Cathedral needed a site that would allow donations for important restoration projects at St. Louis Cathedral on a quick deadline, we were honored to do our part.

The Solution: The Compucast team created a brand new site, styled after the main Cathedral site, which allows donors to give to the church securely online.

Destrehan Plantation

The Project: To qualify for a non-profit Google Ads grant, DestrehanPlantation.org needed some changes. And as long as they were updating the site, they decided to shift their focus to be less history-focused and more about what you can do at Destrehan today.

Don Jose’s Grill

The Project: While everyone knows that Don Jose’s Grill in Kenner is one of the best Mexican restaurants in town, they had no website presence. Until now, they only got the word out through Facebook. With the pandemic, they needed a place where people could find their menus, especially their to-go offerings.

The Solution: Create a fun, enticing site with modern photography celebrating their food and cocktail choices. If this site was a plate of nachos, it came loaded with everything.

PacMan Storage

The Project: Create a friendly, informative, easy-to-use website for a new moving storage company with visuals and messaging that would stand out from others in the category.

The Solution: After researching the sites of both local and national moving companies, it became clear that there is a sea of sameness out there and this was our chance to shake things up. Pigeon Catering and Events

The Project: The first line on pigeoncaterers.com reads, “Pigeon Catering and Events is all about perfection.” When they wanted their website to be perfect, too, they turned to Compucast.

The Solution: Update the current site to feature larger, more compelling photography that illustrates the variety of events the team can pull off, while cutting the content to create a better customer experience. The Pigeon team also wanted the capability to manage their galleries and content easily themselves.

Sully Mansion

The Project: Being a historic property doesn’t mean it’s okay to look outdated. When Sully Mansion in the Garden District changed ownership, they decided It was time to go back to the drawing board with their website. The Compucast team was more than happy to assist.

The Project: The award-winning Café Beignet had expanded to four locations in the French Quarter. Cafebeignet.com required new content, photography as well as a responsive design.

The Solution: Compucast created a visually engaging new layout that feels more interactive and user friendly. The locations Map CTA is both more accessible and directive. The new locations page is, again, more visually and informationally accessible, and keeps everything on one page. The new site also has a more complete/comprehensive info schema structure for their locations, allowing for better Google search results.

Tonti Management

The Project: Create tonti.net, a new site for Toni Management, a company that has built, developed and managed residential and commercial properties in the New Orleans area for more than 50 years.

The Solution: The new design features extensive search capabilities allowing users to quickly browse through Tonti’s list of available long and short-term rentals. Each property is easily managed in a proprietary editor developed to interface property data with their web site. In addition, it has its own custom CMS with easy-to-manage admin tools. The Project: Update NewOrleansRestaurants.com to provide more search capabilities, be responsive, and integrate more fully with social media.

The Solution: Compucast created a new responsive design and updated the branding of our insider’s guide to New Orleans restaurants. Our new site features restaurant guides searchable by location & ambiance; filterable by live music, oyster bars, etc. It is also proximity-based, showing the closest restaurants first to mobile visitors. Seaside Cottages Cape Cod

The Project: Revamp an old website to make it reflect the beauty and serenity of Seaside Cottages, overlooking Nantucket Sound.

The Solution: Create a soothing new design with exciting, user-friendly features, including an interactive Cottages Explorer Map that shows the locations of all the cottages in proximity to the ocean. Hilton Sandestin Beach

The Project: Hilton Sandestin Beach wanted to build out the careers section of its website to entice more job seekers while ensuring a seamless transition between the employment engine and the website. The goal was to develop a responsive design for both the careers section and employment engine.

The Solution: Compucast’s employment engine (allowing site visitors to review job postings and staff to review resumes and post jobs) was updated to be responsive so job seekers could easily find available openings on mobile devices. We developed several pages with a focus on imagery featuring employees within the hotel. We adjusted the navigation placement within the layout to make it easier for mobile users to view and designed all pages to blend with the existing website. This will create a smooth transition when visitors to the website decide to search for a job opening.
