Websites, like seafood, have to stay fresh or else.
This October, Compucast launched a new website for the famous Court of Two Sister's Restaurant. Like the Charm Gates at the restaurant’s entrance at 613 Royal, we think it will work magic on anyone who clicks through.
The website’s updated design aesthetics are in keeping with today's expectations but still manage to incorporate some of Court of Two Sister's eloquence and classic appeal. What’s more, the new website is responsive and new development standards will improve the loading times of each page, further enhancing user experience.
In addition, the new and improved photo gallery boasts larger, sharper images of Court of Two Sister's indoor and outdoor space as well as its cuisine. Sometimes a picture says a thousand words–other times it just needs to say “yum.”
But perhaps the sexiest addition of the new site is a new store where visitors can purchase gift cards, cookbooks, t-shirt and aprons. Recently, there has been a huge push to keep the shopping experience tightly coupled with the website, instead of having a checkout page on a totally different site (such as PayPal). Our new Stripe integration into our custom CMS is capable of synchronizing the product list in close to real-time, allowing Court of Two Sisters to add, remove and update their store items with ease via the streamlined admin interface.
Behind the scenes, we're doing some heavy caching to our server to keep the website's response time super quick. We have also fully customized their receipt emails for visitors so that Court of Two Sisters can advertise deals for repeat customers or send interesting tidbits to make each email memorable.
Check out the new website and, if you haven’t been to the Court of Two Sisters in a while, make time. NewOrleansRestaurants.com’s Facebook followers rave about the experience. You will, too.
